Overview
Mark Chapman presents coverage of the day's three Premier League matches. Burnley welcome West Brom to Turf Moor in a crucial battle towards the foot of the table. When the two sides met earlier in the season, the Baggies inflicted a heavy 4-0 defeat on the newly promoted Clarets, but since then Sean Dyche's side have found their feet in the Premier League and are now a different proposition. Stoke face a tricky trip to play Newcastle. The Potters have come away with three points on just one of their five Premier League visits to St James' Park, but they have won the last two games at home against the Magpies by the same scoreline: 1-0. West Ham host Manchester United in the last fixture of the day. The Red Devils have taken 34 points from their last 12 Premier League games against the Hammers and last lost in this fixture back in 2007. Last season, Manchester United won 2-1 courtesy of a wonder goal from current skipper Wayne Rooney.

Highlights of the day's three Premier League games, which see Tottenham host West Ham, Everton take on Leicester and Southampton play Liverpool. The latter match sees former Saints players Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Dejan Lovren return to St Mary's for the first time since joining the Reds last year. Southampton have coped well without the trio, launching an unexpected challenge for European qualification. It has been an up-and-down campaign for Liverpool, who have struggled to replace Barcelona-bound Luis Suarez, although there have been more encouraging signs of late. The Reds' Merseyside rivals Everton host Leicester City at Goodison Park, eager to make up lost ground following inconsistent league form. And there's a London derby at White Hart Lane, where Tottenham take on West Ham.

That win put Brendan Rodgers' side in the driving seat in the race for the Premier League title with four games to go, although City ultimately emerged victorious. The day's other game sees Arsenal host Everton at the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners look to keep their fight for a top-four place on course. When the teams met at St Mary's in December, Southampton took a first-half lead through Sadio Mane but Eden Hazard's brilliant equaliser earned Chelsea a point. Saints also led when they travelled to Stamford Bridge last season, but Chelsea fought back to win 3-1 and the Blues haven't lost at home to Southampton since 2002. Manchester United host Tottenham, who are aiming for a third consecutive victory at Old Trafford. Last season, goals from Emmanuel Adebayor and Christian Eriksen earned Tim Sherwood's Spurs side a 2-1 win. Elsewhere, Newcastle travel to Everton and Tony Pulis sees his new side West Brom host his former club Stoke at the Hawthorns.

The Tyne-Wear derby is one of the most fiercely contested rivalries in English football. While Newcastle have the better overall record in Premier League meetings, Sunderland have held the edge in recent encounters. The Black Cats are chasing a fourth consecutive victory in this fixture, and have won 3-0 on each of their last two trips to St James' Park. The day's second game sees Arsenal head to Anfield to play Liverpool. The Gunners suffered a 5-1 thrashing the last time they met the Reds on Merseyside. Hull had only beaten Chelsea once in 90 years prior to this fixture, and never in the Premier League. Chelsea were 2-0 winners in the reverse fixture, which was marred by two Chelsea players being booked for diving and Gary Cahill lucky not to be sent off for a second yellow card after taking a tumble to try and win a penalty. At Anfield, the two most successful clubs in the English game faced each other in a game that had ramifications for their pursuit of Champions League qualification. The previous two meetings, both at Old Trafford, ended 3-0, with Manchester United avenging last season's home defeat with a comprehensive victory in December.

They have won their last four games against the Red Devils, and have claimed three successive wins at Old Trafford, including an emphatic 3-0 victory last season and a remarkable 6-1 win in 2011.
