Overview

And there's a London derby at White Hart Lane, where Tottenham take on West Ham.

When the teams met at St Mary's in December, Southampton took a first-half lead through Sadio Mane but Eden Hazard's brilliant equaliser earned Chelsea a point. Saints also led when they travelled to Stamford Bridge last season, but Chelsea fought back to win 3-1 and the Blues haven't lost at home to Southampton since 2002. Manchester United host Tottenham, who are aiming for a third consecutive victory at Old Trafford. Last season, goals from Emmanuel Adebayor and Christian Eriksen earned Tim Sherwood's Spurs side a 2-1 win. Elsewhere, Newcastle travel to Everton and Tony Pulis sees his new side West Brom host his former club Stoke at the Hawthorns.

Mark Chapman presents coverage of the day's three Premier League matches. Burnley welcome West Brom to Turf Moor in a crucial battle towards the foot of the table. When the two sides met earlier in the season, the Baggies inflicted a heavy 4-0 defeat on the newly promoted Clarets, but since then Sean Dyche's side have found their feet in the Premier League and are now a different proposition. Stoke face a tricky trip to play Newcastle. The Potters have come away with three points on just one of their five Premier League visits to St James' Park, but they have won the last two games at home against the Magpies by the same scoreline: 1-0. West Ham host Manchester United in the last fixture of the day. Mark Chapman introduces highlights of the day's three Premier League fixtures, in which Liverpool and Manchester United renew their rivalry at Anfield, while long-time leaders Chelsea head to Hull and relegation-threatened QPR host Everton. Hull had only beaten Chelsea once in 90 years prior to this fixture, and never in the Premier League. Chelsea were 2-0 winners in the reverse fixture, which was marred by two Chelsea players being booked for diving and Gary Cahill lucky not to be sent off for a second yellow card after taking a tumble to try and win a penalty. At Anfield, the two most successful clubs in the English game faced each other in a game that had ramifications for their pursuit of Champions League qualification. The previous two meetings, both at Old Trafford, ended 3-0, with Manchester United avenging last season's home defeat with a comprehensive victory in December.
