Lou’s impassioned defence of Amber sways Harold to agree to apologise to her, but then Imogen’s obvious inability to enthuse over the impending marriage makes him question Daniel and Amber’s choice once again.

Naomi and Brennan are loved up and ready to go public. Or Brennan is. But Naomi’s anxieties kick in and she finds it difficult to be a couple out in the open. Brennan puts her at ease, and all seems well, until, during some flirtatious cake tasting, Naomi catches Brennan exchanging a look with Paige across The Waterhole.

Georgia and Nick set up for a blood drive to raise the hospital’s profile for the Cancer Research Centre. Karl encourages Georgia to give blood but she refuses and is evasive as to the reason why. When Nick stands up for Georgia, she’s appreciative. Brad notices their closeness and begins to suspect Nick is up to no good. Nick denies it and fobs off Brad.

Harold is confused after the accident, and Karl is concerned he’s had a stroke or heart attack. At the hospital, Susan, Lou and Toadie rally around, and Karl reassures them that while Harold doesn’t appear to have had a major episode, he doesn’t know what caused the accident. Meanwhile, in his room, Harold wakes to find Madge by his bedside.

He offers nothing more, but his mood is enough to warrant Paige raising her concerns about him to Tyler. When she relays that Brennan mentioned Dimato, Tyler’s suddenly on edge.

Susan discovers a talent for palm-reading, while Toadie excels as a performing statue.

Matt is in the doghouse of all doghouses as Lauren struggles to come to grips with revelations of his illegal dealings with Dimato. Lauren confesses to Matt’s mistake to Brad and reveals her uncertainty about the future of their marriage. A defensive Matt resents the lack of support and understanding shown from his wife, especially given he’s forgiven her for her past mistakes.

Amber and Josh contemplate reporting a threatening encounter. Chris anxiously awaits news from Lucy about a potential pregnancy. Mark, Tyler, Toadie, and Nate plan for a games night. Imogen shares her wedding plans with Daniel. Tyler's interest in Imogen wanes as Paige jokes about it. Naomi and Mark's relationship progresses, while Chris learns of Lucy's pregnancy.

And his concern only deepens when he’s approached by Dimato, who’s ready to call in his favour – he hears Brennan’s been asking questions and he wants Tyler to do some investigating of his own. Tyler baulks but agrees, knowing Dimato has the upper hand.

Amber faces a challenging assignment but receives support from Josh. Bailey ends up in the hospital due to pushing himself too hard. Lauren and Paige try to cheer him up. Imogen helps Amber with wedding preparations while Daniel has some reservations. Brad apologizes for his distractions and bonds with Matt. Dimato's heavies confront Amber, but Josh steps in to protect her.

A condition that Brad notices while having dinner at Harold’s with Josh. Eager to tout the benefits of his running group after it is put down by Nick, Brad sees a perfect opportunity in Bailey and convinces him to come down and try the group out for himself.
