Tensions are running high between Matt and Lauren as Matt attempts to make up for what he’s done. Things get more awkward when he later crosses with Sharon Canning. Matt spots Brad giving Lauren a comforting hug, and seeks his own comfort in another drink. He is stunned to learn Lauren has told Brad all and they end up having an argument about trust, their marriage seriously troubled.

Tyler baulks but agrees, knowing Dimato has the upper hand.

Matt is in the doghouse of all doghouses as Lauren struggles to come to grips with revelations of his illegal dealings with Dimato. Lauren confesses to Matt’s mistake to Brad and reveals her uncertainty about the future of their marriage. A defensive Matt resents the lack of support and understanding shown from his wife, especially given he’s forgiven her for her past mistakes.

Georgia and Nick set up for a blood drive to raise the hospital’s profile for the Cancer Research Centre. Karl encourages Georgia to give blood but she refuses and is evasive as to the reason why. When Nick stands up for Georgia, she’s appreciative. Brad notices their closeness and begins to suspect Nick is up to no good. Nick denies it and fobs off Brad.

Harold is upset to discover that Amber overheard his advice to Daniel not to marry her but Madge urges him to stick to his beliefs on the topic. Lou’s impassioned defence of Amber sways Harold to agree to apologise to her, but then Imogen’s obvious inability to enthuse over the impending marriage makes him question Daniel and Amber’s choice once again.

Naomi and Brennan are loved up and ready to go public. Or Brennan is. But Naomi’s anxieties kick in and she finds it difficult to be a couple out in the open. Brennan puts her at ease, and all seems well, until, during some flirtatious cake tasting, Naomi catches Brennan exchanging a look with Paige across The Waterhole.
