Although Jess' dreams indicate that someone within the bureau may be responsible for the disappearance, Brooke can't believe it. Also, Jess goes undercover with obnoxious agent Jack Burgess to bust a drug ring.

Jess can't discern whether this is a dream or reality and begins to believe she is going crazy. What's really happening: Jess' visions are helping the bureau track down a female serial killer, and the killer's dark paranoia is entering Jess' mind.

Despite the Army's official story that Richard died during a special ops mission in Bolivia, Brooke and Jess learn that he became involved in the drug trade, causing them to wonder whether Richard's disappearance was intentional. The more they discover, the more Brooke and Jess realize that he may not be the person they should be looking for.
