Chelsea travel to Manchester United looking to make amends for what has been a disappointing season for the Blues, who claimed a league and cup double last season. Victory at Old Trafford would be some comfort after Sir Alex Ferguson's side knocked them out of the Champions League. It is always a big game when Wolves play West Brom, and with both sides in the relegation battle, there will be even more riding on the match at Molineux. The day's other game sees Arsenal visit Stoke, where the Gunners left it very late for victory last season in a game marred by a serious injury to Aaron Ramsey.

The last time Blackpool faced Fulham at Craven Cottage, these sides were both in the third tier. That 1999 match ended 4-0 in Fulham's favour - a similar result this time would put a huge dent in the Ian Holloway's bid to keep Blackpool in the Premier League for a second season.

Also in action today were Chelsea, who hosted Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. City have a good recent record against the Blues, winning the last three meetings, with their talisman Carlos Tevez finding the net in all three games. The Argentine scored twice in this fixture last season, when City came from behind to win 4-2 in a lively encounter, which Chelsea ended with nine men after both Juliano Belletti and Michael Ballack were sent off.
