After turning up to discover his nuptials are about to take place, an in shock Mark pulls out his cuffs and arrests Paige. Brad and Lauren follow them onto Ramsay Street in horror, as a silent Mark takes her away.

Later, after a talk with Susan, Charlie agrees to hear Steph out. Toadie warns Steph against any further contact, but she insists she has to make this right with her son.

Lyn returns to Erinsborough and is shocked to discover Steph is going into business with Paul. Lyn thinks Steph is making a huge mistake but Steph is convinced this deal with Paul is an opportunity to set herself up financially, for both herself and Charlie. Lyn tells Karl that she has an instinct that Pauls up to something dodgy and Steph could lose everything.

Knowing Lyns outside with Charlie, Stephs ready to charge out to see him, but Toadie stops her. She cant go out there not until she knows whether Charlie has permission to be in Erinsborough.

Pauls plans for the hotel development hit a major hurdle when hes confronted with Dougs cheque. Paul insists that Doug is a willing investor, but when Brad finds out he is furious that Paul apparently took advantage of his vulnerable father. He tears the cheque up, and Steph also pulls out of the deal.

Its the morning after the combined hensbucks party and everyone is in good spirits, especially a loved up Imogen who spent the night with Daniel but when Brad emerges with Lauren, Imogens bliss turns to shock when she learns the couple have reunited and are moving back in together. Brad tries to hose her down, revealing he loves Lauren and wants to make things work with her.

With a health inspector arriving that afternoon to check on the motel, Paul and Steph rally Doug and Josh to help with the clean-up. Steph ropes in Amy, whos reluctant at first, but agrees to help once she sees how desperate Steph is. The group work together to clean up the motel and they pass the inspection.

Paige is confident shell ace the subject, but after making a gaffe in the tutorial, coupled with some thoughtless remarks from Courtney, Paige is left insecure about what shes doing. When Mark comes across an upset Paige, he cant help but offer her support.
