Both meetings between the Foxes and Wolves finished goalless last season, but both sides will have been hopeful of breaking the deadlock on this occasion having made steady starts to their respective campaigns.

Mark Chapman presents the highlights from today’s Premier League games, which included Leeds facing Arsenal at Elland Road and Sheffield United hosting West Ham. Leeds and Arsenal have traditionally been big rivals, but this will be their first Premier League meeting since the 2003-04 season. The Yorkshire side will be hoping to fare better than they did against the Gunners in that campaign, when they lost 4-1 at home and 5-0 at Highbury. Oli McBurnie’s goal was enough to give Sheffield United victory the last time they faced West Ham in January, although the Hammers did have an injury-time equaliser controversially ruled out by VAR.

Spurs’ 2-1 victory over the Gunners in July meant they had gone unbeaten in six consecutive home league games against their bitter rivals for the first time since January 1968. However, Arsenal look rejuvenated this season under Mikel Arteta, and this is always a match that is fiercely contested.
