The staff at St Hugh's Hospital fall under suspicion when an elderly patient, Florence, has her house burgled with the keys that were in her bedside cabinet. Jim and Ramani trace it back to one of the nurses but a discrepancy in the amount of money that has been stolen makes them wonder whether Florence is really as innocent as her frail exterior might suggest. Terry arranges a rehabilitation programme for paedophile Ian Forrester but is unsettled by his progress. Eva begins to sympathise with Ian's situation and is convinced that he is desperate to control and conquer his desires.
