Shan Shan is captured by General Luo of the Justice Department, who wants to execute her immediately. However, the High Priest of Revelation persuades the Shrine Leader that she must go through a trial first. Qu Ni airs her grievances to Emperor Li.

Ning Que releases his 13th arrow to top him and in so doing, alerts Qi Nian and Man Man to their whereabouts. It is a race to find them first...

Ning Que crosses paths with Hong Yu and Mo Shan Shan.

Sang Sang's identity as the reincarnation of Yong Ye is revealed, and Ning Que learns of her mysterious illness. This leads to Ning Que taking Sang Sang to a doctor, where he discovers the truth about her past and her connection to the prophecy of the eternal night. Evil forces are now drawn to Sang Sang, trying to exploit her power, forcing Ning Que to protect her and his people.
