One night in Dora's house, Dora with her family and friends are having dinner. Dora tells the story about how she first met Boots, it was the during the first time she ever went out exploring. As Dora the Boots go exploring they met the others on the way (Tico, Isa, Benny), when they met the Fiesta Trio who were on their way to perform for the Queen Bee. As they leave they dropped their instruments. Dora and Boots helps take the instruments back to the Fiesta Trio by going through the Nutty Forest, across the Big River and up the Tallest Mountain.

It is a very busy day for Diego saving animals one after another, until he got caught into trouble himself while saving a baby bird. When Dora hears about this, she and Boots sets off to save Diego. Dora and Boots hurry to save Diego by going across "El Rio Rapido" (The Fast River), down the Super Big Mud Slide, and up to Rocky Mountain before he falls into the prickers and thorns.

Dora and her friends are excited to celebrate Friendship Day. Soon, they run into a problem when they realize that Swiper has stolen all of the friendship bracelets from around the world. The bracelets won't glow unless everyone from each country wears them, so Dora offers to help Swiper give them back. Along the way, they meet some of Dora's friends in France, Tanzania, Russia, and China.

Dora and her cousin Diego are on off on a high-speed, around-the-world adventure to save Boots the monkey! Boots has been carried away on his giant kite by a mighty wind, and now Dora and Diego are chasing after him. They'll need YOUR help as they cross the Ocean atop a whale, swing through trees with singing gorillas, run across the Tall Grass with giraffes, zebras, elephants, hippos, and lions, and finally reach Polar Bear Mountain. There, they find Boots and his kite stuck atop a tree...with a polar bear circling beneath it. Luckily, Diego has his Rescue Pack that can transform into anything they need! Rescue Pack transforms into a rocket sled and Diego and Dora blast off to catch Boots. But will they save him in time?
