A Doctor tells Helen and Todd about the extent of Glen's injuries. Helen goes in to the hospital room and tells Gaby to go home, but she refuses until she knows that Glen is OK. Todd says he tried to grab hold of Glen, Paul suggests that he may have accidently pushed Glen. When Todd says that he will try and get someone to look at his arm, Bob gets angry and tells Todd to leave it.

Gaby finds a new love to help her forget Glen, and Paul desperately tries to save his failing business. Brad and Josh plan a birthday surprise for Beth, while Lucy is puzzled by David's behaviour.

Toby is riding for a fall at the car yard, and Brad is shattered when his birthday present has a devastating effect on Beth. Gaby catches a shoplifter and then makes a surprising decision.
