Sheila confronts Georgia about the birth control pills she found in Georgia’s bag. She wants to know why she’s lying to Kyle. Georgia is furious at Sheila for sticking her nose in but after doing some soul-searching, realises she has to talk to him about her worries. Georgia tells Kyle she can’t bear the idea of losing another child.

Paige is still waiting for Bryson, while a desperate Brad and Imogen try to track her down. After an anxious search, Paige is finally located, having been stood up by Bryson. Brad, while relieved, admonishes her for putting herself in danger by taking matters into her own hands. Despondent, Paige returns to work, only to come face to face with Bryson himself.

When an overtired and overworked Matt snaps at Lauren about dirty dishes she suggests he take the afternoon to rest and cure his bad mood. He can’t as he has too much to do at Harold’s but informs her and Bailey the bank has confirmed they won’t reimburse the money, and the Fraud Squad holds no hope of finding the thief. Wracked with guilt, Bailey withdraws his life savings.

Paige is determined to make up for the loss of the money by capturing the culprit, and she arranges to meet Bryson, having invited him to come to Erinsborough (something which has been on the cards for a while). She asks Imogen for legal advice regarding recording confessions, and Imogen becomes concerned for her sister.

Hearing of Matt’s violent outburst from Paige and Bailey, Lauren tells Matt she’s worried about him. Admitting the mortgage has put the family under too much pressure, Lauren believes the only solution is to sell the house and Matt has no option but to agree. Lauren and Matt break the news to Bailey and he’s devastated. He tries to convince them to look at other options to raise money.

Georgia is thrown to discover evidence that Kyle has been stealing underwear – is it possible she doesn’t know him as well as she thought? However, the truth is Kyle’s covering for Bossy, after catching her chewing up bras in the backyard. Georgia confronts Kyle about what she found, and after an initial misunderstanding, realises he’s not keeping anything from her.

Tyler confirms Imogen is the owner of the car he’s been hired to strip. He strikes a deal with Dimato, promising to do a favour in exchange for possession of the car. Imogen is stunned when she finds Hermione parked randomly on the street, but Paige is suspicious. Believing he has a chance with Imogen, Tyler invites her on a date.

Still reeling from the discovery of their empty bank account, the Turners are further shocked to learn that the whole lot was stolen and sent overseas using Paige’s identity. As the family try to figure out how this could’ve happened, Lauren brings up the possibility that Paige’s online boyfriend, Bryson, may have had something to do with it.

To celebrate the upcoming Erinsborough Festival, Paul is holding a champagne breakfast for all the sponsors, including his new best friend, Nick. Georgia, as the head of the hospital fundraising committee, is also in attendance and her presence comes in handy when Chris (who’s there as a waiter) chokes on a quickly scoffed canapé.

Matt discovers that his highly paid security guard gig is actually for Dimato Industries. Given that he was the investigating officer in the Naomi/Dimato bribery case, it’s a clear conflict of interest, and Matt knows he has no choice but to resign immediately. Unable to keep up with the mortgage repayments, Matt is forced to confess about taking a second job to Lauren.

After she embarrasses him in front of the media, Paul whisks Cousin Hilary back to his penthouse where she complains to Daniel that since she’s returned to Erinsborough, Paul has basically ignored her. Paul is unrepentant and it’s up to Daniel to offer to take her home. But when he gets a call with an emergency at work, he’s forced to leave. Paul offers to take Hilary home or provide a taxi.
