He maintains the ruse when he goes to apologise to Amber, although when he turns down an invitation to her celebration dinner, Amber’s upset and confronts him.

When Toadie learns that he’s missed Nell’s first steps because he deliberately ignored Sonya’s phone call, he’s overwhelmed with guilt. He finally confesses, telling Sonya he didn’t answer her call because he was annoyed with her for taking the support group convenor job instead of putting their family first. Sonya is upset.

Matt tries to reason with Brad about the lawsuit against Mason, but Brad refuses to listen and heads off to collect his son.
