Mother snaps at Sonya for denouncing Mason without any warning. mason puts her in her place, stating they all made mistakes unlike Sonya, who gets and graciously accepts apologies and a cake. When Lucas learns from Stephanie that Vanessa has been married but never told him, he calls off the wedding without waiting for her story, actually that it was an impulsive girlish error to rebel.
