Paul has to fire his trusted, 'complcacent' hotel concierge and offers the job to Mason, promising it's a step-up to a fitting career for Kate's partner. Ajay's grandmother is dying. He wants to put Rani up with Karl while he travels to India, but she insists to join him, to boyfriend Bailey's quiet despair. Karl now enjoys band success with Georgia and agrees to perform regularly.
