When the neighborhood's head cat, Gus and his hench-cats think Jinks has been getting chummy with Pixie and Dixie, he tells Jinks to get more meaner and tougher on them and rough them up; Pixie and Dixie's cousin comes for a visit and poses as Pixie and roughs up on Jinks.

Jinks makes Pixie and Dixie disappear with the help of a magic book, but when he tries to bring them back, he creates a monster that chases him off.

He promises them a fun ride for themselves, but instead he tricks Pixie and Dixie for the ride and he sends them away flying through the city in a basket stringed up to a balloon and they get mistaken for creatures in a flying saucer.

Jinks loses his job and Pixie and Dixie tries to get his job back by sending in tons of mice.

A strong showbiz flea wants to retire and he comes across Pixie and Dixie, and they send him inside of Jinks' fur.
