Unfortunately they have no idea that it's because of Chris and his mysterious plans. Meanwhile, Phoebe discovers she is now an empath, and the dangers of this newfound power.

Meanwhile, numerous magical beings arrive at the manor to try their hand at pulling the sword from the stone, but it's Piper who finally pulls Excalibur out of the stone, causing a surprise figure to appear.

After vanquishing a Manticore demon, Piper, Phoebe and Paige become foster parents to its orphaned half-breed infant. But when Chris urges the girls to vanquish the child, they believe that if they raise the baby with love, they can change it's destiny. Meanwhile, Phoebe surprises her boyfriend Jason when she blurts out her true feelings, and Paige gives Darryl a superpower.

Meanwhile, Chris convinces the sisters to bind Wyatt's powers, then demonic cult members kidnap the baby.
