Eddie Gourmand, a food critic, is fired from his show only to be replaced by his station manager who wants to promote a healthier way of cooking. After a chance meeting in a movie theater, Jon invites him back to his house for dinner. But when Eddie injures his foot because of Garfield, he has to stay at Jon’s and orders him to take care of him until he is healed or else he’ll sue.

Through chattering mice, Garfield tracks him down and won't rest until he can taste the ultimate Italian delicacy. the results are striking for them, Vito and Jon.
