For winning contestants on Total Wipeout there is glory, a shiny trophy and the title of champion. But what do the gallant, damp, muddy losers get? Until now, the answer was nothing. That was until Total Wipeout - the Legends. Eighteen losers who have made their mark on the Big Red Balls over the last three series return to the purpose-built course in Argentina to face their fears and try once again to conquer the daftest obstacles in the world. Richard Hammond hosts, incredulous that they are back once again, while Amanda Byram is course-side, stifling her giggles.

Jeff Brazier, Joe Absolom and Kate Lawler the task of conquering the Sucker Punch, the Big Red Balls and Crash Mountain. For the winner, invitations to appear on a lot of daytime talkshows and a cheque for 10,000 pounds to the charity of their choice. For the losers, a face full of Argentine mud. It's a win-win situation.
