The chip which contains KITT's memories and personality is removed and placed inside of KARR, with the permission from Torres'. Mike, Sarah, Billy and Zoe create a plan to find KITT and get it running, then hunt down the evil KARR and destroy it.

Michael and KITT continue on a mission to rescue an ambassador and foil the terrorists holding him. The quest becomes even more dangerous when a bomb is placed inside of KITT, set to explode when the car reaches a certain speed. Meanwhile, Sarah receives shocking information regarding her father.
