Young gets stabbed by Merchant Sim right before he meets Ro Seo, and he even tells him that he will go after Ro Seo as well. Inspector Kim and Officer Hwang get shocked when they find his dead body at the river the next day. However, even before she gets the news, Ro Seo needs to leave Hanyang immediately as her composite sketch has been put up everywhere in the capital.

Meanwhile, Merchant Sim has made too many enemies by running his moonshine business, and even Sang Mok joins Young and Ro Seo to get back at him.

After that night at the apothecary shop, Sang Mok is gone missing, and Young is desperate to find him alive, so is Merchant Sim. Furthermore, Geum comes back to Ro Seo with even bigger trouble.
