It's up to the viewer to become a new member of the Wonder Pets and help Linny, Tuck and Ming-Ming figure out what kind of animal is in trouble. Each time the phone rings they find clues. The animal in trouble is a hummingbird whose beak is stuck in an apple.

When they free the squirrel from the wheel, they discover that it seems to be lost, but is reluctant to ask for help. They enjoy the delights of Coney Island as they try to persuade the squirrel.
