The Wonder Pets journey to Liverpool to save a band of mop-haired beetles who are trapped in a submarine and then go to the concert at the end.

When Ming-Ming appears out of nowhere inside Tuck's terrarium, she playfully messes with his things for her own amusement, to Tuck's dismay. Initially, Tuck is frustrated with Ming-Ming's antics, until it is the last straw when she deliberately rearranges his turtle sculpture into the shape of a duck, leading to an argument between the two. Tuck angrily declares that he is giving Ming-Ming the silent treatment, and unimpressed with this gesture, Ming-Ming angrily agrees. Nevertheless, the two plus Linny (who tries her best to dissolve the duo's argument) must still have the chance work together to help a platypus stuck on a river in Australia and restore their friendship.

A piglet comes to live in the classroom, but the Wonder Pets each want to take care of it on their own. They realize they must work together to care for the rather large baby pig!
