Khi quá trình chuyển đổi đang được thực hiện từ phim câm sang phim nói chuyện, mọi người đều gặp khó khăn trong việc thích nghi. Don và Lina đã nhiều lần được chọn vào vai một cặp tình nhân lãng mạn, nhưng khi bộ phim mới nhất của họ được dựng lại thành nhạc kịch, chỉ có Don là người lồng tiếng cho phần hát mới.
