IGO (Tổ chức Ẩm thực Quốc tế) tổ chức một cuộc đua mang tên "Đại Hội Ăn Uống Thiên Hạ" trên một hòn đảo. Giải thưởng cho người chiến thắng là "Karat Gyūshi", một nguyên liệu quý hiếm. Để giành lấy giải thưởng, Toriko và các đồng đội, băng Mũ Rơm (Luffy và bạn bè), cùng với Son Goku và các Chiến Binh Z, đã tham gia cuộc thi, tạo nên những màn đối đầu gay cấn để tranh giành danh hiệu mạnh nhất.
