Meet Hige, a middle-aged office worker, and his subordinate Wakabayashi, an office lady who has a thing for him... even though he only has eyes for marshmallows.
Episode 2: Rain and Marshmallow
Hige gets caught in the rain on his way to work, so he takes cover under an awning... where he's soon joined by a rain-drenched Wakabayashi.
Episode 3: Train and Marshmallow
Hige and Wakabayashi find themselves on the same train together. Realizing that everyone is staring at them, Hige starts to move to another car... only to land in an even more precarious predicament.
Episode 4: Fairy and Marshmallow
A school class takes a field trip to the Tabekko Marshmallow factory... and for some reason, Hige is there as well.
Episode 5: Drinking and Marshmallow
Wakabayashi goes out for drinks with her female coworkers, but all she can seem to talk about is Hige.

Worried by his sister's obsession with Hige, Wakabayashi's younger brother sets out to show his sister what pigs men can be. A company barbecue seems like a perfect opportunity.

Hige is depressed when he finds out that Tabekko Marshmallows will no longer be produced. Wakabayashi tells him that she still has some bags that she bought and saved, and invites him over to pick them up.
Episode 9: Normal and Marshmallow
Wakabayashi's younger brother encounters Hige and Mioko out together, and teaches Mioko something that should help her get between his sister and Hige.
Episode 10: Amusement Park and Marshmallow
Hige and Wakabayashi accompany Mioko to the amusement park. As usual, Mioko tries to get Hige away from Wakabayashi, but Hige's unexpected reaction changes all her plans.
Episode 11: Hot Springs Trip and Marshmallow
When Mioko and Hige disappear together during a company hot springs trip, Wakabayashi is determined to find them before anything happens.

Wakabayashi is still searching for Hige, when he comes running down the hall and crashes right into her. The two sit down to take a breather and Wakabayashi wonders if it's finally time to tell him how she really feels.
