Later that day, Nobu confesses his true feelings to Hachi. Shin leaves his lighter at Reira's and gets it back but spends no time with her much to Reira's chargrin. Hachi is torn between Takumi and Nobu.

Nana and Nobu argue over what to do about the baby and whether or not Nobu should become the baby's father. Nobu goes to see Hachi. Reira explains the 'red thread' belief to Shin.
