Overview
Long ago, a great, destructive war between humans the Orgs was ended; the people of Earth were believed to be the victors. But now, 1,000 years later, the Orgs have returned. And five new warriors have been selected by the Power Animals to claim the responsibility of protecting humanity once again, by becoming Gaorangers!

Soutarou's lack of confidence during a ghost hunt causes a rift in his friendship with Kai, who soon finds himself captured by Shrine Bell Org. Shuten hunts for a mysterious energy-emitting stone.

The search begins for the first of several power animals said to be hidden in various parts of country. Trouble finds Tetomu as she steps out of Gao's Rock to aid the rangers.

After pursuing the bride-napping Wedding Dress Org into a building hosting a wedding reception, the rangers stake out in disguise before more brides are harmed.
Episode 7: The Dream Talks!!
Kai's recurring nightmare envisioning Gaoking's defeat brings the rangers to a harbor where they find Boat Org who possess a bottle meant for a boy Blue promises to retrieve.
Episode 8: The Dog Runs!!
A run-in with Signal Org's mind-wiping powers has Kakeru returning to his former life. The rangers must decide whether they should have him return to the team or leave him be.

Gaku encounters two mysterious twins who are in need of his assistance. The rangers G-Phones are rendered inoperable after an encounter with Cell Phone Org.

Weakened from a previous battle, the rangers are instructed to travel to a sacred forest to retrieve a special mushroom that can heal Gao Lion, but encounter a mysterious group of people that need their help.

Sae prepares to meet with her father for the first time since leaving Kagoshima; while Shuten tries to create the strongest possible Org with his power.

The Gao Egg has reached it's final stage requiring the rangers to travel to a valley flowing with Gao Soul to help it hatch. Unaware, a doppelganger walks among them.
Episode 13: The Baby's First Cry Freezes Over!!
Finally the Gao Egg hatches and everyone is there to welcome the hatchling. But all turns south as Shuten appears & sets forth an icy disposition that can spell the end for the rangers.

Powerless and unable to transform, the rangers struggle to maintain a foothold in their fight against Shuten, Yabaiba and TsueTsue.

Amid reports of a "Giant Elephant" in Onigadaira Plateau, Kai & Sae set out to rescue the missing Power Animal. Rouki presents a fierce fight for the rangers with his new combination, GaoHunter.

Itching to resolve his thousand-year grudge sooner than later, Rouki teams up with Clock Org to split up the rangers and take on Kakeru himself.

Beguiled after running into an old love (unknowingly possessed by Glasses Org), Soutarou is forced to give up his Gao Jewel and confront the rangers to save her from Yabaiba and TsueTsue.
Episode 20: The Maiden is Captured!!
An outing with Gaku to visit a grave that holds a sealed (but recently released) Scooter Org results in Tetom being captured by Rouki.
Episode 21: Rouki, Perplexed
Timorous at the prospect of losing their "job", TsueTsue and Yabaiba employ the help of Human Body Specimen Org and a.. self-help book. Rouki's memories begin to surface even stronger.
Episode 22: The Giant Bison is Broken!!
Rouki begrudgingly agrees to assist Ura, Yabaiba, and TsueTsue to steal Soutarou's Gao Jewel in exchange for clarity in his abstruse memories.

Rouki's demise is nigh as the rangers realize their suspicions about his identity are confirmed.

Mazinger Z, known briefly as Tranzor Z in the United States, is a Japanese super robot manga series written and illustrated by Go Nagai. The first manga version was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump from October 1972 to August 1973, and it later continued in Kodansha TV Magazine from October 1973 to September 1974. It was adapted into an anime television series which aired on Fuji TV from December 1972 to September 1974. A second manga series was released alongside the TV show, this one drawn by Gosaku Ota, which started and ended almost at the same time of the TV show. MegaTokyo 2033: Tokyo was left flattened as a result from a great earthquake.
A new city, MegaTokyo, was then recreated due in no small part from the aid of a multi-million dollar company, Genom Corp. Genom created and mass-produced biomechanical creatures called Boomers to aid in the restoration of MegaTokyo.
When the Boomers began to run out of control, the ADPolice at first tried to stop them, but they proved to be far more difficult to deal with than was first imagined.
Under the ever looming Boomer threat, a group of four girls from varying degrees of society banded together. Calling themselves The Knight Sabers, they were the only ones with enough firepower and resourcefullness to defend the fledgling MegaTokyo from Genom and it's berserk Boomers.
