Missing: Season 1

Episode 1: Pilot 2003-08-02 | 45 min Hotshot FBI agent Brooke Haslett's search for a missing woman brings her to Indianapolis, where she follows a hunch about a U.S. senator's involvement in the disappearance of a young woman. The investigation takes an unexpected turn when Jess Mastriani, a young local woman, begins having dreams about a missing girl after getting struck by lightning. She is shocked to learn that the dreams are giving her metaphorical clues to the girl's location but an impulsive decision ruins the situation for all involved. When the FBI finds out about her dreams they ask her to work for them as a special consultant & Brooke is made her partner. She also dreams about the missing woman Brooke is searching for. But Brooke finds it difficult to take these clairvoyant dreams seriously as each one points toward events in the past.

Episode 2: They Come as They Go 2003-08-09 | 45 min The new team's first official case is a missing FBI cadet whose disappearance puts them on the trail of a serial killer.

Episode 3: Insomnia 2003-08-16 | 45 min A nightmare has so rattled Jess that she is unable to fall asleep, increasing the pressure on her to locate a missing woman threatened by a killer as having only a few hours left to live.

Episode 4: I Thought I Knew You 2003-08-23 | 45 min In the team's most perplexing case so far, a teenage girl's parents suddenly vanish from their car while the vacationing family is stopped at a gas station on the highway.

Episode 5: Thin Air 2003-09-06 | 45 min Brooke and Jess must discover how a woman disappeared from an airplane in mid-flight. Meanwhile, Brooke finally learns the identity of the secret admirer who has been sending her gifts.

Episode 6: Never Go Against the Family 2003-09-13 | 45 min Brooke and Jess are ordred to help another FBI agent locate a dead mobster's wife, although they're not sure whether she was abducted or simply decided to run off with a bunch of her husband's money.

Episode 7: This Is Your Life 2003-09-20 | 45 min The team is called upon to locate the missing husband of a woman in the Witness Protection Program, without leading the bad guys to her location.

Episode 8: Ties That Bind 2003-09-27 | 45 min Brooke is attending a wedding with Eric Reynard and the bride doesn't show up for the vows. When the groom goes to talk to her there is a crash and Brooke finds him unconscious. The team starts searching. Later a ransom note (or e-mail) arrives.

Episode 9: M.I.A. 2003-10-11 | 45 min When Rebecca Crowley insists that she spotted her brother Richard, who has been MIA for years, Brooke and Jess are called in to investigate the claim. Despite the Army's official story that Richard died during a special ops mission in Bolivia, Brooke and Jess learn that he became involved in the drug trade, causing them to wonder whether Richard's disappearance was intentional. The more they discover, the more Brooke and Jess realize that he may not be the person they should be looking for.

Episode 10: 72 Hours to Kill 2003-10-18 | 45 min Brooke takes on the authorities after a death-row inmate makes a final plea. As time runs out, Brooke and Jess risk it all to try to save the innocent man.

Episode 11: Deliverance from Evil 2003-11-01 | 45 min Brooke and Jess investigate the disappearance of a wealthy couple who were on a nature trip. Things get complicated when Jess and Brooke find themselves on their own in the woods with a killer on the loose.

Episode 12: Victoria 2003-11-08 | 45 min Jess' dreams lead to the disappearance of a psychotic and potentially dangerous patient from an asylum

Episode 13: White Whale 2003-11-22 | 45 min Brooke's past rears its ugly head when a brilliant serial killer whom she was never able to prove guilty is on the loose again. The cat-and-mouse game becomes especially dangerous when someone close to Brooke goes missing.

Episode 14: Basic Training 2003-12-06 | 45 min When a young cadet goes missing from a military academy, Jess goes undercover to find out whether she went AWOL or if there was another reason for her disappearance.

Episode 15: Father Figure 2003-12-13 | 45 min When a research scientist who holds the key to a potentially highly profitable drug is kidnapped, Brooke and Jess must contend with several suspects: drug smugglers, the scientist's wife, Brooke's father and his co-workers.

Episode 16: Lost Sister 2004-01-03 | 45 min Brooke searches for a missing journalist who was about to publish a book containing proof of FBI corruption. Although Jess' dreams indicate that someone within the bureau may be responsible for the disappearance, Brooke can't believe it. Also, Jess goes undercover with obnoxious agent Jack Burgess to bust a drug ring.

Episode 17: Delusional 2004-01-10 | 45 min Under heightened stress as the frequency of her waking visions increases, Jess meets an FBI inspector who tells her about a secret investigation of Brooke. Jess can't discern whether this is a dream or reality and begins to believe she is going crazy. What's really happening: Jess' visions are helping the bureau track down a female serial killer, and the killer's dark paranoia is entering Jess' mind.

Episode 18: These Dreams Before Me (a.k.a. The Fisher Queen) 2004-01-24 | 45 min After a mother and son of an attorney go missing, Brooke and Jess must work with a legendary FBI agent to solve the case. Jess believes she is being stalked by a homeless person but it turns out she is a former psychic for the FBI, a living warning of the cost of working for the FBI. Brooke is offered a promotion that would move her to San Francisco and end the her and Jess' partnership.
