Episode 1: The Girl Who Runs Swiftly
Everything is normal as the four main characters attend a normal day of high school. They discuss different foods and how they eat them. Later on, Kagami gets sick and all the characters go over to make sure she is okay.
Episode 2: Effort and Results
During Golden Week, Kagami and Tsukasa have been playing together, but Tsukasa does not know her sister has been waking up earlier and going to bed later to study and finish homework; Konata pulls an all-nighter and decides to get a part-time job.

The girls discuss facts and myths about twins; Konata, Tsukasa and Miyuki compare notes on marriage; Konata, Tsukasa and Kagami try on ponytails; Minoru re-introduces Miyuki Takara.

Summer vacation is almost here and Konata is still staying up late playing online video games, reading manga and watching anime; Konata and Miyuki celebrate Kagami and Tsukasa's birthdays.

Tsukasa gets a new cell phone. Kagami teaches her how to text message. Tsukasa text messages Kagami to the point of sheer annoyance. Konata invites Kagami and Tsukasa over to her house and they forget to do their homework.

The end of the year is drawing to a close and Christmas is right around the corner; the girls discuss falling asleep on the bus; Kagami is annoyed that she didn't get a lot of studying done; Tsukasa talks with Konata and Miyuki about Santa Claus.

Konata, Kagami and Tsukasa go to Comiket 71; Konata meets Tsukasa and Kagami at a New Year festival and receives very bad luck in a lottery drawing; Konata goes out of her way to be nice to her dad in order to receive her otoshidama.
