Episode 1: Do Rico 2000-10-02 | 20 min Carrie is turned on by an imitation of Rico done by Doug; Arthur tries to chronicle his own life story. Episode 2: Roast Chicken 2000-10-09 | 20 min Carrie has Doug sign a card for her boss' twenty years at the company and is asked to participate in his banquet roast. Episode 3: Fatty McButterpants 2000-10-16 | 20 min Doug vows to lose 30 pounds. Episode 4: Class Struggle 2000-10-23 | 20 min Carrie decides to return to college, with very little time to get things done. Episode 5: Strike One 2000-10-30 | 20 min Doug wants a new car and against Carrie's advice, buys it for himself only to find out moments later that the workers at the IPS company are going on strike, forcing Carrie to work major overtime to compensate for his mistake. Episode 6: Strike Too 2000-11-06 | 22 min With no end to the IPS workers strike in sight, Doug tries substitute teaching at his sister Stephanie's school. Episode 7: Strike Out 2000-11-13 | 20 min Doug and Deacon, who are out of work because of a strike, resort to playing sophomoric pranks, along with Arthur, to keep from going stir crazy. But they're driving Carrie and Kelly nuts. Eventually, Doug and Deacon return to work leaving Arthur alone. They consult Arthur who quickly recalls some other Thanksgivings. Episode 9: Twisted Sitters 2000-11-27 | 20 min Doug and Carrie watch Deacon and Kelly's kids while they are out of town. When one of the kids sees them making love, they must keep him from telling his parents... Meanwhile, Carrie questions her relationship with Doug because of their different views on cheating. She and Doug agree to put their sex lives on hold for a few weeks because Carrie feels that they should resolve arguments verbally. Arthur dates a woman who claims she dated Frank Sinatra. Episode 17: Inner Tube 2001-02-26 | 20 min Doug dreams that he could solve all of his problems if he could assume the roles of vintage sitcom characters. Episode 18: Papa Pill 2001-03-19 | 20 min Doug feels sorry for Arthur and agrees to let him go to a cocktail lounge instead of the weekly dance at a senior center. When Carrie finds out, she turns her father's care over to Doug. Episode 19: Package Deal 2001-04-09 | 20 min Doug finds that working for a competitor isn't all it's cracked up to be after he quits his job; Carrie becomes a self-tanning cream addict. Episode 20: Separation Anxiety 2001-04-16 | 20 min Doug and Carrie go to the movies with Kelly while Deacon takes the kids. Carrie runs into a co-worker who asks Kelly out on a date. Episode 21: Departure Time 2001-04-30 | 20 min Doug, Carrie and Arthur head out to the airport to visit with Doug's parents. When they ask him to sign their living will and his sister Stephanie gets wind of this, she is offended. Episode 22: Swim Neighbors 2001-05-07 | 20 min Doug and Carrie meet the neighbors after a hurricane destroys both of their backyards. Episode 23: S'no Job 2001-05-14 | 20 min Doug's Uncle Stu asks him to get his son a job at IPS. Doug doesn't want him working there but he doesn't want to look bad to the family so he instructs his boss to interview him but not hire him. Episode 24: Pregnant Pause (1) 2001-05-21 | 20 min Carrie discovers that she is pregnant and she is panicked that the timing is all-wrong. Meanwhile, Deacon and Kelly begin to reconcile and Arthur insists that Doug build him his own bathroom in the basement. Episode 25: Pregnant Pause (2) 2001-05-28 | 20 min Doug tells Carrie not to panic about having the baby and he takes on a second job so that they can save extra money before the due date. Arthur is annoyed that Doug still hasn't finished his bathroom.
