The Class
Overview
A group of 20-somethings who are inextricably bound together having shared the same third-grade class. Now face to face at an impromptu reunion to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the day they met, they wonder if they'll have anything in common besides vague memories of playground kisses and underwear sightings on the monkey bars. Turns out they do. After two decades apart for most of them, some are eager to show off, some want to rekindle old crushes and others just want to satisfy their curiosity.

Ethan Haas is head-over-heels in love with his girlfriend, for whom he has planned the ultimate surprise engagement party – a reunion with the third grade class of Philadelphia's Woodman Elementary School to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the day they met.
Episode 2: The Class Visits a Hospital
Lina is rushed to the hospital after the abrupt end of her coffee date with Richie and while he waits with the group for news of her condition, tries to explain the accident.
Episode 3: The Class Learns About Hurricanes
When Holly is assigned to cover a major hurricane in the field, Kyle and Aaron are spellbound by her reports as she is whipped around on camera, providing hours of entertainment for them at home.
Episode 4: The Class Blows The Whistle
As Nicole's husband starts bonding with her ex-boyfriend over their love of video games and football, she starts to panic when she realizes that her former and current loves are becoming buddies.
Episode 5: The Class Gets Frozen Yogurt
Ethan is mortified when he takes Kat to get frozen yogurt and she asks for multiple samples without ever placing an order and then dares him to do the same.
Episode 6: The Class Goes Trick-or-Treating
Holly's attempt at becoming weekend anchor fails miserably when she impales a bunny with her stiletto while reporting live from a petting zoo on Halloween.
Episode 7: The Class Goes To A Bar
When approached separately by two very attractive people at a bar, Ethan and Kat fake being the blind dates of the couple who were originally supposed to meet each other.
Episode 8: The Class Celebrates a Birthday
Ethan's charade of posing as Dan hits a snag when Sue invites him to a birthday party and the hosts are Holly and Perry. Meanwhile, Holly and Perry forget to confirm the puppet people for their party, forcing Perry to improvise by singing. Also, Richie reveals a major secret to Duncan and Nicole.

Secrets are uncovered and the classmates learn much more about each other as they gather for Thanksgiving dinner at each other's homes,

Episode 11: The Class Celebrates An Anniversary
Nicole is upset with Yonk's one-year anniversary present when, instead of something meaningful, he gives her a stripper pole. Meanwhile, Kat is peeved by her new neighbor, a former classmate that her sister and Ethan seem to get along with.
Episode 12: The Class Visits a Bad Neighborhood
When Ethan's date confesses that she has always had a crush on Kat, he imagines one of his biggest fantasies coming true. Meanwhile, Lina, Nicole and Duncan visit Richie's rough neighborhood to help him collect things from his apartment, and the group has an unfortunate run in with Fern and a gun.
Episode 13: The Class Hits It
Richie and Lina mistakenly confide in Duncan and Nicole by revealing that their relationship has yet to go to the next level. Meanwhile, Kat's crush on a handsome stranger quickly develops into a case of mild stalking when she begins following him and taking pictures of him around town.
Episode 14: The Class Has To Go To A Stupid Museum
When Palmer overhears a phone conversation between Kat and Benjamin that insinuates that her relationship with Ethan is based solely on sex, she decides they need to practice abstinence and discover what else they have in common.
Episode 15: The Class Eats Moroccan Chicken
Lina's friends are disgusted when she cooks a special recipe for her dinner party and they are forced to eat inedible Moroccan chicken to not hurt her feelings.
Episode 16: The Class Has a Snow Day
Valentine's Day is meant to be spent with those you love, but the holiday is anything but that when a snowstorm hits Philadelphia and strands the former classmates at each other's homes.
Episode 17: The Class Springs a Leak
When Duncan and Richie finish repairs on her home, Nicole is surprised by how upset she feels at not having them around.
Episode 18: The Class Rides A Bull
Torn between her husband and her high school sweetheart, Nicole finally decides if she will stay married or leave Yonk for Duncan.
Episode 19: The Class Goes Back to the Hospital
The classmates find themselves at a hospital once again, rallying around Nicole after Yonk suffers a massive heart attack and must undergo quintuple bypass surgery. Meanwhile, Ethan struggles with his newfound feelings for Kat.

After Bonet's departure in the first season, the remainder of the series primarily focused more on Southern belle Whitley Gilbert and mathematics whiz Dwayne Wayne. The series frequently depicted members of the major historically black fraternities and sororities.
