With Bob out of the way, the Devil decides to try to seduce Bob's wife in order to mess with Bob even more, but will Bob be able to prove that he's not insane before the Devil's plan succeeds?

Bob finds the Devil's palm pilot after he misplaces it and he realizes that the next day's sports scores are on it. Bob decides to exploit what he found and use it for gambling. He considers it a blessing when it leads to a fortune; however, the Devil realizes what Bob is doing and he thinks he can use it to his advantage.

However, Bob cannot help but wonder if he will go to heaven or hell after he perishes, which causes Bob to go on a journey that may help him understand more about his father than he ever thought he would know.

After God forgets the Devil's birthday, the Devil decides to go back to hell and take all the world's evil to show God how much he really needs him. Up in the world, Bob is realizing how everyone is much too nice, which eventually gets on Bob's nerves. And the Devil, who figures he only has one soul to focus on now, is a formidable obstacle. On the job or at home with his family, Bob is forever changed.
