As part of his plan to destroy Marineville, Surface Agent X20 infiltrates the base by posing as a professor who can teach mute people to speak. Then, unknowingly, Troy and Phones place Marina in his hands.
Episode 21: Invisible Enemy
Troy and Phones rescue a comatose man and take him back to Marineville for treatment. Unknown to them, the man is actually in a controlled hypnotic trance as part of a plan to render everyone in Marineville unconscious and open to attack.
