As Ha-ni endures nothing but disdain from both Seung-jo and his little brother Eun-jo, their mom, Hwang Geum-hee, gets what she always wanted - a companion daughter to pamper.

With the lower classes away, the school pits the senior honor students and senior losers against each other in physical challenges to prove which group is better.

While Oh Ha-ni's friends intrude on Baek Seung-jo's home, a family trip to the beach brings about desperation, a chance drowning, two sand burials, and uninvited guests.

Indirectly influenced by Ha-ni, Baek Seung-jo acknowledges his total lack of interest in anything and stuns the family by announcing his decision to forgo college.
Episode 6
With high school graduation looming, Ha-ni secretly picks up a few part-time jobs to get Seung-jo a nifty graduation gift but keeps running into him in the course of her duties.

Now at college, Ha-ni still follows Seung-jo around, but he's just as cold to her as before. Oh Ki-dong decides it's time they moved out from Baek Soo-chang's home and hospitality. Meanwhile, Eun-jo has a crush.

Inept player Ha-ni gets stuck playing tennis doubles with Seung-jo against Yoon He-ra and Wang Kyeong-Su.
Episode 9
Seung-jo considers having grown up always at the center of things, while Ha-ni decides to believe that she's the center of everything that goes wrong. Espied giving Kyeong-su lessons in romance, Ha-ni, indeed, becomes the center of gossip.
Episode 10
Ha-ni finds Seung-jo working as a waiter alongside He-ra and jumps to the conclusion that they're living together. Solution: she should spend every moment at the restaurant to keep them apart.
Episode 11
As Hwang Geum-hee continues scheming to get her son and Ha-ni together, a new boy enters Ha-ni's life, interested in her, friendly and patient.
Episode 12
An outburst of anger sends Baek Soo-chang to the hospital, forcing Seung-jo to forgo his selected future in order to take over and rescue his ailing father's ailing company.
Episode 13
Devastating news: As the young head of his father's company, Seung-jo may have to marry the sponsor's granddaughter to keep the business afloat. Predictably, Ha-ni mopes, but unpredictably she allows Joon-gu to finally date her.
Episode 14
Seung-jo and Ha-ni agree to marry. Now they must inform those most adversely affected by this decision - He-ra, Joon-gu, and Chairman Yoon.
Episode 15
Shoved into his own wedding, Seung-jo wants to reconsider but marries anyway. Now if he and Ha-ni can just avoid a pair of unpleasant newlyweds on their Honeymoon.
Episode 16
Seung-jo won't register his marriage till Ha-ni passes her nurse's exam, leaving Ha-ni to feel put-upon in an unfair world.
