Overview
Mark Chapman introduces the best action and reaction from the day's Premier League matches, plus all of the goals from the opening weekend. Last season's runners-up Tottenham travelled to newly promoted Newcastle, whose manager Rafael Benitez will be looking for a repeat of the extraordinary 5-1 win at St James's Park in 2016. Manchester United entertain West Ham at Old Trafford, where the visitors haven't won in the Premier League since Carlos Tevez gave them a 1-0 victory in 2007.
