Highlights from the day's two Premier League matches, along with all the goals from Saturday's games. The fixtures included a much-anticipated south coast derby between Southampton and Bournemouth. The teams have never met in the top tier of English football, and will be playing each other for the first time since the 2010-11 season, when Saints beat the Cherries twice in League One, having also knocked them out of the League Cup. The day's other game saw struggling Sunderland visit Everton. The Black Cats won 2-0 at Goodison Park in May, a victory which dragged them out of the relegation zone. With another survival battle already seeming likely, they will be hoping for a similar result.

Last season the Black Cats managed to rescue a point at home to Mauricio Pochettino's side after a late own goal from Harry Kane earned them a 2-2 draw. Leicester started the season in impressive form and will hope they can beat their Midlands rivals at home for the second successive season.
