Overview
Mark Chapman introduces highlights from the day's three Premier League fixtures, in which Liverpool host Chelsea, Crystal Palace meet Manchester City and Sunderland play Cardiff. Liverpool's hopes of securing a first league championship since 1990 will receive a major boost if they beat title rivals Chelsea at Anfield. The Reds have been the Premier League's most improved side this season, with Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge establishing themselves as arguably the most feared strike force in the top flight. Blues boss Jose Mourinho has repeatedly played down his chances of lifting the Premier League trophy this season, but victory at Anfield would be a potentially season-defining moment. The third side in the title equation, Manchester City, face an awkward away game against Crystal Palace, who have already beaten Chelsea on home turf this season.

Highlights on a huge day of Premier League football as Liverpool entertain Manchester City and Chelsea travel to Swansea; two matches that could go a long way to deciding the 2013-14 champions. Liverpool have not beaten Manchester City in the league in five matches, not since a 3-0 win at Anfield in April 2011, a game that saw Andy Carroll score twice for the Reds, his first goals for the club following his £35m move from Newcastle. Both subsequent league matches at Anfield have been drawn and with the league title in reach for both sides it promises to be another closely fought yet engrossing encounter. In the other match, fellow titles contenders Chelsea travelled to the Liberty Stadium to take on Swansea. The Swans have only ever beaten Chelsea three times in the league, and only once at home, that win was a 2-1 success back in 1927.

Title contenders Arsenal take on Everton at Goodison Park, a ground the Gunners have not lost at in the league since March 2007. Liverpool are also in the title hunt, and the Reds make the trip to Upton Park to take on West Ham. A Luis Suarez-inspired Liverpool ran out comfortable 4-1 winners in the corresponding fixture earlier this season - another three points here would have done their title hopes no harm at all

Mark Chapman introduces highlights from the Premier League. Liverpool have been scoring for fun this season, and hope to add to their impressive tally at home to Tottenham, against whom they scored five without reply at White Hart Lane earlier this season. Elsewhere, Everton travel to Fulham, who they defeated 4-1 in December. But the Cottagers, who have changed managers again since then, did beat Roberto Martinez's side in the League Cup back in September. They are hoping to recreate that winning feeling and earn three points, which could be vital in their battle for Premier League survival.

Mark Chapman introduces highlights from the Premier League, as Tottenham Hotspur take on Southampton and Aston Villa entertain Stoke. Both Tottenham and Southampton are enjoying encouraging Premier League seasons, helped in large by their contingent of young home-grown players. Southampton took the lead at St Mary's earlier this season through England hopeful Adam Lallana, but Spurs roared back in Tim Sherwood's first game in caretaker charge to eventually win 3-2. Tottenham have won all three games since Saints returned to the Premier League and the south coast club have not won at White Hart Lane since September 2003. Aston Villa play host to Stoke City in the day's other game, looking to avenge their 2-1 defeat at the Britannia Stadium earlier this season when the Potters scored from each of their two shots on target. Peter Crouch scored the winner that day against his former club.

Mark Chapman presents highlights from Sunday's Premier League matches, as Manchester United face Liverpool and Tottenham and Arsenal clash in the north London derby. Liverpool travel to Old Trafford, chasing a double over their bitter rivals United for the first time since the 2008-09 season. Their 1-0 win at Anfield, in what was only the third match of the season, set the tone for a campaign in which Liverpool have impressed, while the Red Devils have struggled badly under David Moyes. At White Hart Lane, Tottenham host Arsenal in a fixture that has provided much entertainment, drama and goals over the last few years. The Gunners have enjoyed derby day superiority this season, having already beaten Spurs twice at the Emirates: 1-0 in the league and 2-0 in the FA Cup third round.

Mark Chapman introduces highlights of the day's three Premier League matches, which see Tottenham host Cardiff, Aston Villa play Norwich and Swansea take on Crystal Palace. Cardiff head to London in search of their first win at White Hart Lane since 1954. The newly-promoted Bluebirds controversially changed their manager earlier this season, with owner Vincent Tan deciding Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had a better chance of keeping the club up than predecessor Malky Mackay. Tottenham also opted for a change at the top, with Tim Sherwood replacing Andre Villas-Boas in December. Meanwhile at Villa Park, Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert faces his former club Norwich City. The Scot guided his current side to a 1-0 win at Carrow Road when the sides met earlier this season. Another win would see Villa record a league double over the Canaries for the first time since the 1980-81 season, when they were crowned champions.

Brendan Rodgers led Swansea into the Premier League in 2011, and his Liverpool side take on his former employers at Anfield today. Tottenham are one of the form teams in the league on the road this season, and they make the journey to Norwich. Spurs began life after Gareth Bale with a 2-0 win over Norwich earlier this season and are looking for more of the same at Carrow Road. Meanwhile, Newcastle welcome Aston Villa to the north east.

Recent encounters have been tight, and their sixth draw in 12 meetings earlier in the season was notable only for Tottenham's controversial decision to allow goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to play on after suffering a head injury and losing consciousness late in the game. Defending champions Manchester United have struggled at Old Trafford under new manager David Moyes this season, but the visit of Fulham has traditionally provided home comforts.
