Overview
After discovering that Emmanuel Mijares has died, Daniela, Dulce, Yuri, and Lupita are summoned to a mysterious mansion. Forced to interact, the tensions between them quickly ignite, and the lies they've been hiding for years come to light. But little by little, these women begin to question themselves, to reflect, and to realize that they share much more than they ever imagined.

Episode 1: Lies
After receiving the shocking news of her husband Emmanuel Mijares' death, Daniela, in disbelief, heads to a mysterious mansion. She can't process what's happening, but soon, her best friend, Yuri, arrives to support her. Shortly after, Lupita, Emmanuel's secretary, joins them. But once Dulce, a woman no one knows, makes an unexpected entrance, one of Emmanuel's many secrets is revealed.
Episode 2: Jackals, Beavers, and Parasites
The war between Daniela and Dulce is inevitable. As they each recount their stories, it becomes clear that their memories and versions of the past differ greatly. As they reconstruct the events and try to make sense of Emmanuel's life, the rivalry and competition between them intensify rapidly. But tensions explode when Lupita, by accident, reveals that she, too, has been hiding a shocking secret.
Episode 3: Behind a Great Man
It's Lupita's turn to take them back to a distant past and unveil the hidden story of her life. As the others attempt to piece together past events and understand their own experiences, emotions run high, leading to a heated confrontation. And just when things seem like they couldn't get worse, Lupita confesses another truth that leaves Daniela completely frozen.
Episode 4: Quadratic Equations
As Yuri shares her own history of the past, we begin to understand how Daniela's arrival in her life changed everything. Daniela challenges and provokes her until Yuri finally reveals long-buried truths that break her friend's heart. And just as they think there's nothing left to say and are about to leave, Lupita drops another bombshell.
Episode 5: Boozy Night
The four women soon realize that six months before meeting in the mansion, they had all crossed paths in the city's hottest nightclub-El Patio. As each one recounts her night there, they start piecing together a series of coincidences and near-misses where their many secrets almost came to light. Meanwhile, we see Emmanuel Mijares playing a dangerous and risky game.
Episode 6: Nutty Night
As they compare memories of that night at El Patio, the four women truly connect for the first time. They all agree that from that night on, something changed in Emmanuel Mijares. Though they try to downplay it, they all stay on the same path. This triggers yet another explosive confrontation between Daniela and Yuri, one that exposes Daniela's long-hidden secret.
Episode 7: Confessions
With no choice but to confess, Daniela finally reveals her intimate secret. This sparks Dulce to do the same, unable to hold back any longer. Then Lupita follows, sharing things she never spoke of before. Finally, with great difficulty, Yuri lays everything on the table, forever altering her bond with Daniela. But in the end, the biggest secret of all belongs to Emmanuel Mijares.
Episode 8: Truths
Determined to uncover the truth, the four women set out to finally understand who Emmanuel Mijares really was and why he did what he did. As the pieces fall into place, they each face a final confrontation-not with each other, but with themselves. They must question who they are without lies or secrets and, most importantly, decide how they want to live the rest of their lives.

La que se avecina is a Spanish television comedy created by Alberto Caballero, Laura Caballero and Daniel Deorador. The TV-series focusing around the inhabitants of Mirador de Montepinar, a fictional building located on the outskirts of a big city. Both its storylines and cast are heavily based on Aquí no hay quien viva, which ended when Telecinco bought Miramón Mendi, the series production company.
The episodes debuted on the Telecinco network, and were later rerun by the same network as well as cable/satellite channels FactoríaDeFicción and Paramount Comedy. The series debuted in 22 April 2007 and became popular thanks to its funny characters, witty script, use of catchphrases and capacity to integrate and poke fun at contemporary issues; the program presents a caustic satire of many of the 'types' found in Spanish society.
The name of the show involves wordplay, as "vecina" is the Spanish word for neighbour.
