As departure day approaches, Ewan resurrects his old California police bike while Charley brings a 1970s rust heap back from the dead.
Episode 2: Route Canal
Fresh off the ferry, the guys travel through the Netherlands and Germany to visit Charley's mom's hometown before heading to the Danish islands.
Episode 3: Survive the Ride
In a scary setback, Ewan's bike gives way from underneath him. A local Swedish biker club comes to the rescue. Then it's off to meet a mermaid.
Episode 4: Fjord Focus
Ewan and Charley wind their way through Norway's scenic roads and fjords, gobsmacked by Viking churches and ancient rock formations.
Episode 5: Ice, Snow, and Bears
The guys temporarily ditch their bikes to fly to Svalbard, an archipelago in the Arctic where the effects of climate change are glaringly real.
Episode 6: Lost in Lapland
Ewan and Charley meet a man with a fascinating connection to the Lapland forest in Finland and encounter two crazy motorsport events.
Episode 7: Deep in the Forest
Traveling to the Finnish lakes, Ewan and Charley camp on a breathtakingly beautiful island and give the lost art of logrolling a spin.
Episode 8: It's Baltic Outside
After sputtering the last 3,000 miles, Ewan's bike finally gives out. Estonian mechanics step in, and the guys resume exploring the Baltic landscape.
Episode 9: Pinball and Pierogies
Nostalgia and hope define this leg as the guys retrace their Long Way Round route from over 20 years ago and visit a Ukrainian refugee center.
Episode 10: The Home Straight
Paragliding, Swiss Golf, and a brush with an eccentric artist round out an Alpine exploration before making the long ride home.

WWII in HD
WWII in HD is a 10-part American documentary television miniseries that originally aired from November 15 to November 19, 2009 on the History Channel. The program focuses on the firsthand experiences of twelve American service members during World War II, including an Army nurse, a member of the Tuskegee Airmen, a second generation Japanese American and prisoner of war, and an Austrian Jewish immigrant. The twelve members recorded their time in both theaters and some had later interviews; found footage from the battlefield was paired with the stories of the twelve service members.
The episodes premiered on five consecutive days, with two episodes per day. The series is narrated by Gary Sinise and was produced by Lou Reda Productions in Easton, Pennsylvania, United States.
