Overview
Kobato decides to become an honest, humble citizen after enduring a bitter experience known as “wisdom work.” He forms a pact with Osanai, his classmate with the same goal, and they plan to enter high school leading quiet lives. But for some reason, inexplicable events and disasters keep happening around them. Will Kobato and Osanai ever manage to live ordinary, peaceful lives?

Episode 1: Sheep Costume
Kobato and Osanai made a pact to lead a quiet life as regular students upon entering high school. However, soon after, a handbag mysteriously disappears at the school, and Kobato is asked to help solve the case.
Episode 2: How to Make Delicious Hot Cocoa
Kobato and Osanai are invited to Dojima's house, where he makes them cocoa using his special method. When Osanai leaves, Dojima asks Kobato about his change in personality.
Episode 3: Humpty Dumpty
During a class assignment, a vase in the cabinet seemingly breaks by itself, but there's an elaborate plan behind it. However, this mystery is quickly forgotten when Osanai sees the bicycle thief again and plots revenge.
Episode 4: Mind of a Lone Wolf
Kobato, along with Kengo, tries to get to the bottom of Sakagami's motives. It seems there is more to the case than initially suspected. However, Kobato's concern for Osanai is also growing.
Episode 5: Berliner Mystery
Kobato finds Osanai crying in the school hallway, but she runs away without telling him what happened. At the student newspaper club, a new mystery involving Berliner Pfannkuchen (jelly doughnuts) awaits him.
Episode 6: But I Get to Keep Charlotte
Osanai ropes Kobato into her plans for the summer vacation. However, the cake he is supposed to buy for her proves to be irresistible, even for Kobato.
Episode 7: Shake Half
Just before a date with Osanai, Kobato runs into Kengo, who shares some disturbing news and leaves a strange message. Together with Osanai, Kobato tries to solve the mystery. However, shortly after, it appears that Osanai is in great danger.
Episode 8: C'mere, You Want Some Free Candy?
When Kobato goes to visit Osanai at her home to invite her to eat candied apples, he learns that she has been kidnapped. Just as he leaves the apartment, he receives a mysterious message from Osanai and, with Kengo's help, sets out to find her.
Episode 9: Sweet Memory (1)
To top off their summer sweets tour around the city, Osanai treats Kobato to a Tropical Parfait as thanks for rescuing her. Along with this delicious treat, Kobato is also served the whole truth about Osanai's kidnapping.
Episode 10: Sweet Memory (2)
After a long conversation, Osanai and Kobato come to the conclusion that their agreement has failed – and with it, their friendship. From then on, they go their separate ways.
Episode 11: A Warm Winter (1)
After starting to get involved with Osanai, Itsukaichi investigates a possible string of fires in the city.
Episode 12: A Warm Winter (2)
Urino begins writing articles predicting the locations of the next suspicious fires.
Episode 13: Hesitant Spring
There will be a change of pace in the school newspaper. Kobato shows an interest in serial fires.

When his girlfriend unceremoniously dumps him on Christmas Eve, Natsuki breaks down in tears in the middle of the street and is offered tissues by a girl in a Santa Claus suit. He instantly falls in love with this girl, Anna Kobayakawa, who fortunately attends the same school as him. Natsuki's pursuit of Anna should have been simple and uneventful; however, much to his dismay, his nosy friends constantly meddle in his relationship, as they strive to succeed in their own endeavors of love.

The story centers around class 1-7 of Tennomifune Academy, where all the students with "bad karma" or misfortune seem to have been gathered. Hibari, a student in this class, meets the unlucky Hanako and the perennially unhealthy Botan on her first day of school, and together they try to find a way to turn their school life into a happy one.
YuruYuri: Happy Go Lily
On her first day attending the all-girls Nanamori Middle School in Takaoka, Toyama Akaza Akari oversleeps, to be awakened by her one-year-senior childhood friends: the level-headed Funami Yui and the often self-centered Toshinou Kyouko. Planning on exciting club activities at school, Akari joins the club her older friends have set up. But as it turns out Kyouko and Yui simply took over the former room of the now defunct tea ceremony club for their own Amusement Club. In regard to what the club does, Kyouko explains: "We just hang out and do whatever we want!" This is not exactly what the helpful and energetic Akari had hoped for. Surprisingly a few days later Yoshikawa Chinatsu joins the club even though she mistook it for the former tea ceremony club.
And so the four fun-loving girls could enjoy spending their spare time at the club were it not for the student council, in person of vice president Sugiura Ayano, who does her very best to shut down this unauthorized club.
