Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.: Season 2

Episode 1: PFC Gomer Pyle 1965-09-17 Carter postpones his vacation until all his men pass their PFC exams -- and, of course, Gomer is the only one to fail. Episode 2: Third Finger, Left Loaf 1965-09-24 Gomer is asked to be the best man at his friend's wedding, then loses the ring the night before the ceremony. Episode 3: The Blind Date 1965-10-01 Carter sets Gomer up with a blind date who thinks he is an oil millionaire. Episode 4: Home on the Range 1965-10-08 Gomer unknowingly finds shelter for a family of hillbillies in a shack which is the target of war games. Episode 5: Gomer Untrains a Dog 1965-10-12 Gomer's chosen as companion of a new sentry dog -- and turns the guard dog into a pet. Episode 6: Supply Sergeants Never Die 1965-10-22 Carter, who says that Supply Sgt. Singer has the easiest job, wagers that any knucklehead could handle the job -- even Gomer. Episode 7: Cat Overboard 1965-10-29 The platoon goes on sea duty, and Gomer sneaks a stray cat on board the ship, then is ordered to ditch the feline. Episode 8: Gomer Captures a Submarine 1965-11-05 Gomer ruins a simple reconnaissance mission. Episode 9: The Grudge Fight 1965-11-12 Carter challenges the fleet's retired boxing champion to a fight. Episode 10: Gomer, Star Witness 1965-11-19 Gomer is the only witness to Carter's auto accident. Episode 11: A Visit From Cousin Goober 1965-11-26 Goober pays Gomer a surprise visit. Episode 12: A Groom for Carter's Sister 1965-12-03 Gomer tries to convince Carter that his sister's fiance is a nice guy. Episode 13: Gomer Minds His Sergeant's Car 1965-12-10 Gomer takes care of Carter's car -- which gets stolen and wrecked. Episode 14: Gomer the Peace Maker 1965-12-17 Gomer tries to reunite Carter with his girlfriend. Episode 15: Gomer Pyle, POW 1965-12-24 On maneuvers, Carter gives Gomer false information---hoping he'll be captured by the enemy camp. Episode 16: Gomer Pyle, Civilian 1965-12-31 When Sgt. Carter orders him to take a furlough, Gomer becomes a civilian employee at the base. Episode 17: Gomer and the Beast 1966-01-07 Gomer tries cheering up a depressed waitress, only to discover that she is the girlfriend of a tough Marine sergeant. Episode 18: Grandma Pyle, Fortune Teller 1966-01-14 Gomer's fortune-telling Grandma pays a visit. Episode 19: Arrividerci, Gomer 1966-01-21 Gomer sings an Italian love song to his friend's sister -- and her mother thinks he is proposing to her. Episode 20: Segeant Carter Dates a Pyle 1966-01-28 Gomer arranges a date for Carter with his cousin Bridey Pyle. Episode 21: Little Girl Blue 1966-02-04 Gomer befriends the little daughter of a visiting colonel. Episode 22: A Star is Born 1966-02-11 Carter becomes the star of a documentary about the Marine Corps. Episode 23: Gomer and the Phone Company 1966-02-25 Gomer tries to repay the $40 he received at a pay phone to the phone company, but gets arrested instead. Episode 24: Duke Slate, Night Club Comic 1966-03-04 Duke wins an amateur talent contest by picking Carter as the butt of his comedy act. Episode 25: Vacation in Vegas 1966-03-11 Gomer wins a trip to Las Vegas. Problem: whom should he take? Then he and Carter win a fortune gambling. Episode 26: Opie Joins the Marines 1966-03-18 Opie runs away from Mayberry to join Gomer in the Marines. Episode 27: A Date With Miss Camp Henderson 1966-03-25 Carter bets Gomer he can't get a date with Miss Camp Henderson. Episode 28: Gomer and the Father Figure 1966-04-01 Gomer and Carter are taken by an old con man. Episode 29: Desk Job for a Sergeant 1966-04-08 Carter decides to resign when he feels his platoon can get along without him. Episode 30: Gomer, the Would-Be Hero 1966-04-15 Carter prvents a holdup but gives the credit to Gomer.
