Episode 1: Arthur Meets Mr. Rogers 1997-10-20 | 13 min Mr. Rogers from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood comes to the Read family for a visit. Episode 2: Draw! 1997-10-20 | 13 min After Francine makes fun of Fern for liking Mr. Ratburn's puppet shows, Fern gets revenge by drawing an unflattering comic strip making fun of Francine, and pretty soon, everyone else tries it too. Episode 3: Binky Barnes, Art Expert 1997-10-21 | 13 min Binky gets teamed up with Arthur and Buster for an art class assignment. They go to an art museum and Binky discovers a mistake with a certain drawing- Episode 4: Arthur's Lucky Pencil 1997-10-21 | 13 min Arthur uses a pencil that seems to be lucky and then lends it to his friends. But it gets shorter and shorter, so Arthur decides to use it for emergencies only. Episode 5: D.W., the Picky Eater 1997-10-22 | 13 min D.W. is not invited to Grandma Thora's upcoming birthday dinner because she is a very picky eater. Episode 6: Buster and the Daredevils 1997-10-22 | 13 min Arthur and Buster want Toby and Slink to teach them some skating tricks, but Toby and Slink say that they have to do some dares first. Arthur quits before the first dare, but Buster keeps on fulfilling dare after dare. Episode 7: Arthur Makes a Movie 1997-10-23 | 13 min Arthur wants to see a movie, but he is too young, so he and his friends make a parody of the movie. Episode 8: Go to Your Room, D.W. 1997-10-23 | 13 min D.W. does not get along well with Kate, whom she claims keeps trying to take her toys, when they are supposed to be sharing them. When Kate will not give D.W. one of her toys back, D.W. tries to take the toy away from Kate by force and threatens to pinch her. For doing this, Jane sends D.W. upstairs to her room as punishment. Episode 9: Arthur's Underwear 1997-10-24 | 13 min Arthur has an embarrassing dream about being seen in his underwear and it gets even worse when it happens for real. Episode 10: Francine Frensky, Olympic Rider 1997-10-24 | 13 min Episode 11: Buster Baxter, Cat Saver 1997-10-27 | 13 min Buster saves a cat from up a tree and now he is known as a local hero because of an article in the newspaper. Episode 12: Play it Again, D.W. 1997-10-27 | 13 min Episode 13: Arthur's TV-Free Week 1997-10-28 | 13 min Everyone has all pledged not to watch TV for one whole week. He finds his list and D.W. accidentally helps him realize that he did all the things on it and had a great time too. Episode 19: D.W. Goes to Washington 1997-10-31 | 13 min It's the first family trip and Arthur gets to choose. He chooses going to Washington, D.C. and D.W. thinks that she's going to be bored until she accidentally runs into the American president. Episode 20: Arthur's Mystery Envelope 1997-10-31 | 13 min Mr. Haney gives Arthur an envelope to give to his mom. He is worried about its contents, thinking that it's about him, so he comes up with a way of giving it to her without her opening it. It turns out to contain Mr. Haney's tax documents. Episode 21: D.W.'s Deer Friend 1998-04-06 | 13 min It's the second family trip and D.W. gets to choose. She chooses camping and D.W. gets attached to a deer she met and wants to bring home. Episode 22: Buster Hits the Books 1998-04-06 | 13 min Buster needs to write a book report, but he has never finished a book. His friends try to find one he can finish. Episode 23: Arthur's Faraway Friend 1998-04-07 | 13 min Arthur and Buster are on the urge of finishing their story for the sequel of Robin Hood. Everything is well until Arthur discovers that Buster has decided to go on a long trip to bond with his dad. Arthur fears that it's the end of their story and their friendship! Episode 24: Arthur and the Square Dance 1998-04-07 | 13 min Episode 25: Water and the Brain 1998-04-08 | 13 min Arthur and his friends are all invited by Muffy to go to Waterworld, but the Brain doesn't want to go. When he and Binky find out that the Brain is afraid of water, they try to cure this fear so they can all go together. Episode 26: Arthur the Unfunny 1998-04-08 | 13 min Episode 27: Sue Ellen's Lost Diary 1998-04-09 | 13 min When Sue Ellen drops her diary at the library, she is worried that someone has found it and is going to read it. Episode 28: Arthur's Knee 1998-04-09 | 13 min Arthur does not want to tell his mother he hurt his knee, because then she will know he was playing down at the dump—where he is not supposed to go. Episode 29: Grandma Thora Appreciation Day 1998-04-10 | 13 min Arthur and D.W. sleepover at Grandma Thora's house and find out that she gets lonely when they're not there. So Arthur and D.W. throw her a party to help her. Episode 30: Fern's Slumber Party 1998-04-10 | 13 min Episode 31: Love Notes for Muffy 1998-04-13 | 13 min When Muffy annoys Francine and Brain, they decide to get even with her by sending her fake love notes for an anonymous person to make her look goofy. Episode 32: D.W. Blows the Whistle 1998-04-13 | 13 min Deputized as a Junior Safety Officer, D.W. sees it as a license to tattle. Episode 33: Francine Redecorates 1998-04-14 | 13 min When Francine and Katherine get sick of each other Katherine moves out to have her own room in the living room. Episode 34: Arthur the Loser 1998-04-14 | 13 min Episode 35: Arthur vs. the Very Mean Crossing Guard 1998-04-15 | 13 min On the way home from school, Arthur and the Brain meet a crossing guard who wants $10.00 from them to cross the street. Episode 36: D.W.'s Very Bad Mood 1998-04-15 | 13 min Episode 37: D.W.'s Name Game 1998-04-16 | 13 min D.W. gets praise from the Tibbles at being the best at name-calling, so she tries it on Arthur but it fails because he's older and knows more words so with the help of Katherine she looks up words in the Thesaurus that Arthur doesen't know and uses them against him. Episode 38: Finders Key-pers 1998-04-16 | 13 min Episode 39: How the Cookie Crumbles 1998-04-17 | 13 min Muffy won last year's Strawberry baking contest in The Strawberry Festival because her father was the judge but this year when her friends help her bake strawberry cookies she takes the credit and wins the contest. Soon the cookies become so good that Muffy decides to run a business and sell them but not before she lets Arthur and friends get their share. Episode 40: Sue Ellen's Little Sister 1998-04-17 | 13 min
