Emma’s mom is away for a few days and it’s just her and her step-dad, Mr. Simpson. He’s supportive of Emma’s involvement in “Food for Thought”; the student group who wants to remove genetically modified (GM) foods from the school cafeteria.

Final year exams are coming up and Craig is having trouble with science. The year-end dance doesn't seem to have much affect on him, since he knows he wants to ask Ashley (she does say yes). But there's one problem: his dad wants to tutor him, and hang out more often. Craig agrees to visit him at home for tutoring, and have dinner with him. But things at Joey's start to get harder, and Craig's dad wants him to move back home. Craig's dad convinces Craig that he has taken counciling and he can control his anger now. But then Craig's dad hits him again.
Episode 16: Message In A Bottle
Emma and Sean are back together. Emma invites Sean to come to dinner at her house with Mrs. Nelson and Mr. Simpson and Emma. Sean arrives drunk and gets kicked out. Emma cheers him up and assures him she still has faith in him. Emma's parents forgive him.
Episode 22: Tears Are Not Enough (2)
After Craig's dad storms off, he gets in a serious car accident and dies. Craig feels a huge relief with his dad's death and the end of the school year. Everyone thinks he should care a little more about his father's death. Paige, Spinner, Hazel, and Jimmy are competing for Luau King and Queen. Craig enters him and Ashley into the competition.
Episode 15: Hot For Teacher
JT the class clown gets in trouble and spends the week afterschool with the hot science teacher Ms. Haztilakos but along the way he finds that she is a person not just a hot teacher and he earns her respect.
Jimmy and Spinner are starting to tell the truth forever and end up with unexpected results.
Episode 14: Careless Whisper
Just as things seem to be going good with Ellie & Marco, Marco questions his own sexuality. He tries to stay with Ellie to hide who he might really be, but Ellie puts the pieces to the puzzle together and finds out his secret. She promises not to tell and invites Marco to a Gay/Lesbion group at a local church, but he tells her he's not ready for that kind of thing yet. Meanwhile, Toby is all over Kendra. It seems to sort of be a Craig-Manny relationship. Toby is always having a good time, but Kendra needs he time & space. When Toby redecorates Kendra's locker Manny tells him it's not worth the trouble and she'll feel ""suffocated"". Then Toby lays off Kendra. Finally, Kendra gives Toby a kiss, and everything is as good as new
Episode 13: White Wedding (2)
Snake and Spike are only two days away from the wedding. Emma styles her hair, only for it to turn out worse than she thought. Spike and Snake have an argument about having a baby in which Snake reveals that he's not ready for a child. Spike later finds out that she is pregnant...and plans to have an abortion. Snake has a bachelor party in which Joey invited a stripper. Emma catches J.T. and Toby spying on ""Fancy"" outside Joey's window on her way to tell Snake about the baby. Spike finds out that Emma told Snake, and they end up having a long discussion that makes them late for the wedding. The wedding goes on, and so does the reception afterward. Emma makes up with Sean and they kiss in the end.
