Episode 1: Admiral Jed Clampett 1965-09-15 | 25 min Mr Drysdale wants Jed to buy a yacht & join the Yacht club. Jethro sees Mr Drysdale's captains hat & goes out to find a something similar for Jed. He returns with an Admirals uniform.! The clampetts agree to meet Mr Drysdale & Miss Jane at the Dock but get lost & end up at a navy base. They see a Navy vessel & think it's a yacht. When Jed walks up the Gangway in his admirals uniform the sailors think it's a surprise inspection. After a 'test drive' Jed decides to pass on buying the 'boat'. Note: This is the first episode filmed and aired in color. Episode 2: That Old Black Magic 1965-09-22 | 25 min Granny thinks Mrs Drysdale's astrology is Black Magic, Mrs Drysdale's horoscope says to make friends with the neighbours. Granny chases her away, but later goes to apologise & is shocked to find a Minah bird in the Drysdales house.! Granny thinks Mrs Drysdale's turned herself into a crow.! Episode 3: The Sheik 1965-09-29 | 25 min After entering an oil deal with Jed and O.K. Oil, the Sheik befriends the Clampetts, giving Jed four of his dancing girls for wives and tries to get the beautiful Elly May as one of his wives. Jed tries to give the girls back, while Jethro tries to enjoy some of the Sheik's life, mainly the company of his beautiful dancing girls, after selling his cousin. Episode 4: The Private Eye 1965-10-06 | 25 min Jethro is a 'double nought' spy waiting for a call from 'M' so he can go on an adventure. Mr Drysdale gives him an office in the bank & Elly May is his secretary. After a visit from two other 'agents' Jethro thinks he's on his way. However the two 'agents' know Jethro's office is above the Bank's Vault & want to break in to it until the double nought spy foils their plan.! Episode 5: Possum Day 1965-10-13 | 25 min Granny thinks Mrs.Drysdale is running against her for Possum Queen.Granny and the family put on a rip-snotin' campaign to elect Granny Possum Queen.Mr.Drysdale,in the meantime,is trying to get any city he can to hold a Possum Day parade. Episode 6: The Possum Parade 1965-10-20 | 25 min Granny is wondering why her opponent Mrs Drysdale hasn't started her campaign for Possum Queen yet. When Mr Drysdale learns this he immediately starts campaigning for his wife without his wifes knowledge. Granny gets all fired up & the insults are hurled back and forth,When Mrs Drysdale finds out what's going on she goes home to her bed & stays there. Granny thinks she has been too mean to Mrs Drysdale so she pulls out of the race for Possum Queen. Episode 7: The Clampetts Play the Rams 1965-10-27 | 25 min Drysdale's maid is spending too much time with Jethro. Episode 8: The Courtship of Elly 1965-11-03 | 25 min Elly May again becomes the target of one of Granny's matchmaking schemes. Episode 9: A Real Nice Neighbor 1965-11-10 | 25 min The Clampetts think the house keeper from next door is their new neighbour. Episode 10: The Poor Farmer 1965-11-17 | 25 min Drysdale organizes a financial syndicate. Episode 11: Hoe Down a-Go-Go 1965-11-24 | 25 min Jethro has girl trouble—he can't get one! Jed and Granny decide throw a wing-ding where he and Elly Mae can meet nice young folks. The bank's Ms. Hathaway and Mr. Drysdale help in arranging the musical talent. They mention the Beatles, Byrds, Herman's Hermits, Freddie and the Dreamers and the Animals! There's a very funny extended discussion about the Beatles where Mr. Drysdale schemes a way to get them as depositors for his bank! Jethro and Ms. Hathaway go the Whisky-A-Go-Go and find the Enemys (featuring a very young Cory Wells—later of The Dog Night.) wailing on ""Mojo Woman"" and ""Oh Pretty Woman,"" and ""Turkey In The Straw."" The Enemys sound like the Yardbirds! Lengthy extended scenes featuring the Enemys and wild teens dancing the jerk, frug and boogaloo! Jethro ends up wearing a Beatle wig! There's also a groovy ""beat music"" square dance! Must see rock n roll TV! Episode 12: Mrs. Drysdale's Father 1965-12-01 | 25 min Mrs Drysdale's father arrives & is a little short of cash. After hearing that Jed next-door is a millionaire he invites himself over for a game of poker. Mrs Drysdale's Father is winning until Granny sits in on the game & then she ends up with all the winnings. Mrs Drysdale's father then shoots some pool with Jed but he loses again. Episode 13: Mr. Farquhar Stays On 1965-12-08 | 25 min Mrs. Drysdale's father, an aristocratic Bostonian, is coming to visit, and she's afraid that one glimpse of the unrefined Clampetts will send him back to Boston. Episode 14: Military School 1965-12-15 | 25 min Jethro enters military school. Episode 15: The Common Cold 1965-12-29 | 25 min Granny has a cure for the common cold & opens up an office in Mr Drysdale's Building. Episode 16: The Richest Woman 1966-01-05 | 25 min The world's richest woman has her eye on the Clampett estate. Episode 17: The Trotting Horse 1966-01-12 | 25 min Granny asks Jethro to give her driving lessons. After the first lesson he quits & Mr Drysdale talks Jed into buying a trotter. The Clampetts just want the horse to take Granny to town when she wants to go,instead of waiting for Jethro to drive her. When a man arrives with the horse, he has the racing buggy with him. The Clampetts think it's a normal buggy without any sides or roof. Episode 18: The Buggy 1966-01-19 | 25 min The Clampetts buy a horse for Mrs Drysdale named Lightning. Jed wants Mr Drysdale to ask his wife if she'll compete with Granny in a buggy race. Episode 19: The Cat Burglar 1966-01-26 | 25 min Elly-May is worried because she heard there was a Cat-Burglar on the loose. So she gathered up all her cats & took them inside the house. Later the Cat Burglar posing as a detective arrives at the Clampett's place pretending to secure it against burglars,but is really ""casing the joint."" Elly May sets some traps & catches the cat burglars assistant & Jethro catches Miss Jane. (Much to her delight !) Episode 20: The Big Chicken 1966-02-02 | 25 min Granny thinks an ostrich in their yard is a big chicken & tries to catch it for supper. Episode 21: Sonny Drysdale Returns 1966-02-09 | 25 min Perpetual student Sonny Drysdale returns home. Episode 22: Brewster's Baby 1966-02-16 | 25 min Granny and Elly head for the Ozarks to help deliver a friend's baby. Episode 23: The Great Jethro 1966-02-23 | 25 min Jethro decides to be a magician after seeing Marvo the Magnificent.Marvo puts on a magic show for the Clampetts-and later sells Jethro his entire warehouse of equipment(which had been just sitting there for years).Jethro tries to put on a similar magic show-and he doesn't succeed. Episode 24: The Old Folks Home 1966-03-02 | 25 min A spring-fever epidemic hits the Clampett home. Episode 25: Flatt and Scruggs Return 1966-03-16 | 25 min Musicians Flatt and Scruggs pay a visit. Episode 26: The Folk Singers 1966-03-23 | 25 min Jethro abandons his career as an astronaut to become a folk singer. Episode 27: The Beautiful Maid 1966-03-30 | 25 min Julie Newmar as an actress studying backwoods behavior for a movie role. Episode 28: Jethro's Pad 1966-04-06 | 25 min While cleaning out Mr Drysdale's garage to earn some extra money for his new pad, Jethro finds a large pile of ""mens magazines"". With his new pad (a beat-up old caravan) Jethro is eager to lure a girl there so he visit's the kitty cat club & parks his pad on the beach. Things are going all right until the tide comes in & his ""pad"" starts floating. Episode 29: The Bird Watchers 1966-04-13 | 25 min Mr Drysdale wants Dash to ask Elly for another date. Miss Jane meets her hero, Prof. Biddle (of the Biddle birdwatchers)& they go out on a field trip looking for birds to watch. Episode 30: Jethro Gets Engaged 1966-04-20 | 25 min Jethro get's a job as Dash Riprock's stunt double. He changes his name to ""Beef Jerky"". Episode 31: Granny Tonics a Birdwatcher 1966-04-27 | 25 min Prof.Biddle drinks some of Granny's tonic thinking it's water & his personality changes. Episode 32: Jethro Goes to College 1966-05-18 | 25 min Jethro goes to college & when he graduates Mr Drysdale makes him Vice President of the Bank. Elly wants to go to college too, but she ends up in a karate school.!
