The TV in the living room needs to be fixed. While it is away Jon brings out his old TV. Jon shows Garfield a show he used to like when he was a kid. Garfield watches the show, but he keeps complaining because there is no color. The TV shockingly speaks back and takes away Garfield's colors until he becomes nice enough to get them back. After he has done his good deeds he goes back to the house and finds the the TV is back and the old one is put back in storage.
