When she is pulled out of the blanket, Madeline spins around like Taz for a few seconds before wobbling about and trying to regain her balance.

During spring in Paris, Madeline falls ill with some sort of sinus issue. Doctor Cohn suggests that she go someplace warm and sunny, and the gang all head down South to the French Riviera in Cannes.

When Madeline and the girls go to Dr. Cohn for a physical, all the girls have grown several inches except Madeline, who has a dream that she will be Tom Thumb-sized for her whole life. In the end, she feels better when she discovers that Georgette, the tallest girl, has size issues as well.
