Lucy takes over driving so Harry can take a nap, and decides to take a detour, setting up this and the following three episodes. Episode 4: Lucy Runs the Rapids 1969-10-13 | 25 min While camping outdoors near a river, Lucy's mattress gets carried away with the current, with Kim, Craig, and Harry trying to rescue her. Episode 5: Lucy and Harry's Tonsils 1969-10-20 | 25 min Lucy, Kim, and Craig attempt to keep Uncle Harry in the hospital after having his tonsils taken out. When the car no longer works, Lucy and Harry scheme to get Charlie to take it back for more than it's worth. Episode 10: Lucy the Cement Worker 1969-11-24 | 25 min When Lucille loses an antique ring in wet cement, she disguises herself as a cement worker wielding a jackhammer. Episode 11: Lucy and Johnny Carson 1969-12-01 | 25 min Lucy appears on the Johnny Carson show and plays ""stump the band"", and wins a dinner at the Brown Derby. Unfortunately for Johnny Carson, Lucy and Uncle Harry coincidentally dine at the Brown Derby when Carson and McMahon are also dining. Naturally, Lucy believes she must have won a dinner with Johnny and Ed and joins them. Episode 12: Lucy and the Generation Gap 1969-12-08 | 25 min Kim and Craig are in charge of producing the school play, and decide its theme should be the Generation Gap. When they have casting problems, Lucy and Harry wind up playing the parents, and they all put on a really spectacular show. Episode 13: Lucy and the Bogie Affair 1969-12-15 | 25 min The kids find a lost sheep dog and bring it home. After naming the sheep dog Humphrey Bogart, a litter of puppies are born. After the puppies are giving to new homes, Uncle Harry arrives with a want ad offering a reward. Episode 14: Lucy Protects Her Job 1969-12-22 | 25 min Harry suggests Lucy is overworked and should hire an assistant. Suspecting Harry is really attempting to replace her, Lucy has Kim arrive to the office as temp secretary Shoiley Shopenauer, the world's worst office assistant. Episode 15: Lucy the Helpful Mother 1969-12-29 | 25 min The kids acquire part-time jobs to pay for a new phone line, but Lucy ends up filling in for them. Episode 16: Lucy and Liberace 1970-01-05 | 25 min Craig's scavenger hunt finds a candlelabra that appears to have belonged to Liberace. Lucy feels obliged to return it to the famous pianist. Episode 17: Lucy the Laundress 1970-01-12 | 25 min When Lucy's drives into a Chinese Laundry, she takes a part time job there to pay for the damages. Episode 18: Lucy and Lawrence Welk 1970-01-19 | 25 min Lucy brags to Viv that she knows Lawrence Welk personally, and then schemes to introduce her to the bandleader, whom she has actually never met. Episode 19: Lucy and Viv Visit Tijuana 1970-01-26 | 25 min Lucy and her friend Vivian Jones want to visit Tijuana, and get Harry to drive them, which leads to another classic Lucy-Viv situation. Episode 20: Lucy and Ann-Margret 1970-02-02 | 25 min Ann-Margret likes Desi's new song, and wants to duet with him on her upcoming television show. Episode 21: Lucy and Wally Cox 1970-02-09 | 25 min Lucy schemes to help change a father's image of his son. Episode 22: Lucy and Wayne Newton 1970-02-16 | 25 min While in Las Vegas, Lucy and family return a lost horse to singer Wayne Newton. Episode 23: Lucy Takes Over 1970-02-23 | 25 min Lucy, Kim, and Craig find an old promisory note indicating Uncle Harry owes them a great deal of money. Episode 24: Lucy and Carol Burnett 1970-03-02 | 25 min Lucy and her friend Carol Krausmeyer both end up entering the local Secretary Beautiful Contest, causing a rivalry between them. They both make fools of themselves at the contest trying to prove which woman is better.
