Jin-seok's wife confronts Chan-young. Lacking the courage to tell Chan-young the diagnosis, Mi-jo takes her anger out on someone else.
Episode 4: Choice
Chan-young and Jin-seok tearfully reveal their secrets to each other. A friend's sighting of Kim So-won at an unlikely place rattles Seon-u.
Episode 5: Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2
Chan-young creates a bucket list of her to-do items for loved ones. Mi-jo consoles a guilt-ridden Seon-u, who blames himself for So-won's sorrows.
Episode 6: Conviction
At an impromptu dinner for four, Seon-u's dad shows his affinity for Mi-jo and aversion for So-won. Chan-young's mom stops by while Jin-seok is over.

Chan-young finds information on Mi-jo's birth mother and auditions to achieve a long-awaited dream. So-won moves into the orphanage.

Seon-u asks his father to apologize to So-won. Chan-young's mom demands answers from the trio. Mi-jo learns of her biological mother.
Episode 9: A Thousand Nights Over and Over Again
Mi-jo's conversation with her birth mother leaves her distraught. Chan-young excitedly plans her mom's birthday, but nearly misses the celebration.
Episode 10: He Who Dances Must Pay the Piper
When a strange man comes looking for Mi-jo at her clinic, she seeks answers from her adoptive mother. Jang Joo-hee expresses her frustration and fear.
Episode 11: About Romance
Joo-hee and Mi-jo take Chan-young out to capture her smile after hearing she's taken her funeral photo. Mi-jo's parents invite Seon-u over for a meal.
Episode 12: Samseong-dong, Hyochang-dong and Gocheok-dong
Chan-young gets the chance to say goodbye to loved ones at an unforgettable brunch. Worried about Mi-jo, she leaves behind a surprise gift.
